I'm told I should use a third person narrative here, but I've never been one to follow the rules. I prefer to speak to you (whoever you might be) as I would in any casual conversation. I'm not a robot, though sometimes my work ethic betrays me.
Much of the work on this site encapsulates the time spent on my Photographic degree in Cambridge, all somehow strange for me to look back on now - 3 years later. I've changed a lot since then. I don't hunt as much as I did in those days. Perhaps because I have a stronger vision now. I know what I want to say and why I'm saying it. I intend to update this site in the future, but for now I'd encourage you to visit my blog for my newest works: http://callmeflyn.blogspot.com
Let's finish on a quote from Jim Jarmusch, which has stuck with me for a long time:
Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is nonexistent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery—celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: "It’s not where you take things from—it’s where you take them to."
